IMO B.

A. 'as dated and culturally biased' is awkwardly worded.
B. Correct. The usage of being isn't always wrong.
C. 'attack as dated' makes no sense.
D. 'was' and 'it IS being' wrong tense.
E. 'attacks as dated' awkward.

Hello! Let me try to explain this one.

A after many attacks recently as... - awkward.
B cannot say anything specific, but "and is finally being revised" sounds strange to me.
C much recent attack - many, not much and attack must be plural.
D passive voice
E there are doubts about this choice, but still looks the best to me.

:)

IMO B
A- attacks recently is wrong
C- recent attack(singular) wrong
D- was ..wrong
E- finally to be revised (future ) ..we need present continuous

I am confused with the meaning here.Choice A doesn't give any nonsensical meaning but Correct answer choice changes it.
Please explain? Any Experts take on this?

IMO, the non underlined portion suggests that the test was developed. This means it refers to an action
that happened in the past and completed in the past. The criticism that followed also happened in the past and completed in the past. The revision is happening in the present.
In choice A, 'after many attacks recently as dated & culturally biased' is not a complete thought. Also
using the adverb recently as dated and culturally biased is wrong

A does not give clear meaning but why we are NOT able to recognize that ??. The reason is that we are so used to wrong english that we try to get the meaning from structure of words, even if they are not grammatically correct. E.g. I came from England tomorrow. Now any sensible person would get the meaning that i wanted to convey & realize that i wanted to say yesterday and not tomorrow BUT this does NOT mean that i conveyed the meaning properly. Same is the case with A, it is constructed awkwardly but we get the meaning BUT remember it is not correct. B conveys the same meaning in perfect manner.

Meaning of sentence: MMPI is under revision because of recent attacks. Though B changes the meaning slightly as it states the 2 events independently but other choices change meaning more drastically. So when you choose B you chose not only grammatically correct option but also least deviated option.
