In Country C, the numbers of transactions made by various noncash methods in 2006 and 2009 are shown in the graphic. All other transactions were made with cash.Use the drop-down menus to complete the statements about Country C so that they are consistent with the given information.

A) # of paper check transactions in 2006: 24
# of paper check transactions in 2009: 30
% increase = (6/24) * 100 = 25%, so paper check is the correct answer.

B)Let's say the value of credit card transactions in 2006: 100
# credit card transactions = 22
Avg value = 100/22 = 4.55

If value goes up 10%, then value of credit card transactions in 2009: 110
# transactions = 20
Avg value = 110/20 = 5.5

% increase = (.95/4.55)*100 = 20.9%. Round up to 21%.
