The Gmat beat me, but I don't give up !

Hello,

I'm a french 22 years old student in marketing. I take some entrance examinations as an international student for French Business School : SAI (HEC, ESCP, EM Lyon, Audencia & Skema), Essec, Universa (Reims, Rouen etc), Toulouse and Pass-World (Grenoble etc). I took the Gmat in Barcelona the 23th of February and I got...620 (Quant 43, Verbal 33). Two or three days before I got 700 on a Gmat-Prep that I made for the first time.

I started to study in the end of November, at the beginning on the Official Guide. When I came back to France (22th of December) for my holidays I started to study on the Manhattan Gmat set. I remember my first Gmat-Prep (without essays), I got 590. With the time I increased my performance, 600, 630, 650 etc. Finally in January I was able to get 670-680, close to my dreamed 700. I took all the MGMAT cat but I don't like them (especially quant) and I never scored above 650 on these tests. With retake Gmat-Prep 1 I reached 720. I know retake is not accurate so I took for the first time the Gmat-Prep 2 (including essays, exam condition) and got 700. I was confident but...

I don't know exactly what happened but I have some ideas :

- I always worked the Gmat on the afternoon and took my Gmat Prep between 7 and 11 pm. My exam was the morning (10H15)
- I slept very bad the night before
- The questions were different in the quant part, I would not be able to explain how, but it was not like OG or G-Prep
- I think I managed my time poorly

My plan is to retake at the end of March. I bought Kaplan Advanced to work tough quant questions and CR Bible. I think to remake all OG questions, and twice for the last 50/70 of each section.

Well, what do you think ?
