Hey everyone!
I'm not sure if there are a lot of Consortium applicants on the board but I was wondering if any applicants or consultants had any insight on the application process. I applied Round 2 (Jan 5) but it is unclear whether you have to interview for all the schools and when you will be notified of an interview and such. I got an email from UV Darden saying that interview invitations will be going out so that they can complete interviews in time for March 1. They said March 1 is when the Consortium has a meeting with all the schools to select which applicants will get a fellowship. Does this mean that everyone who will be interviewed/accepted will be notified well before March 1?
Yale said they do not interview applicants, instead they use your Consortium interview as your Yale interview. Does that work against an applicant? Yale's interview questions were already bit odd with word count and subject limitations [other than our reputation, curriculum, etc why Yale? and they gave you like 300 characters or something small like that] so I'm concerned about the inability to say "why Yale" in an interview since the consortium interview was very general.
If anybody has any information it would be greatly appreciated!
Best,
KD
