<Jacques who is obviously one of the best marksmen in France although few people like his brusque manner or undisciplined life style.>

A) Jacques who is obviously one of the best marksmen in France although few people like his brusque manner or undisciplined life style.

B) Although few people like his brusque manner or undisciplined life style, Jacques is obviously one of the best marksmen in France.

C) Jacques, obviously one of the best marksmen in France, has an undisciplined life style which few people like together with his brusque manner.

D) Although Jacques is obviously one of the best marksmen in France, few people like his brusque manner or undisciplined life style.

E) Jacques is obviously one of the best marksmen in France liking neither his brusque manner nor his undisciplined life style.

I choose D . but the OA is B. Can anyone please explain why

IMO is B

Why not D?
Sentence structure seems to be fine for both of them but B sounds much better than D

B is in passive voice but still the best option.
In A) and D) Obviously is redundant. Nothing is being said why it is obvious.
B) Although few people like his brusque manner or undisciplined life style, Jacques is obviously one of the best marksmen in France.
Correct use of puntuation and use of noun immediately after comma. The contrast is bought out clearly by appropiate construction of Although and obviously. The sentence implies that some people don't like him but it does not take away the fact that he is good .
C) like together - ungramatical.
E)Here is implies Jacques does not like someone.

B -> Although few people.... he is the best
D -> Although he is the best...few people

B is better because it is able to bring out the contrast in a better way.

Sarthak, I chose D as well. Notwithstanding the contrast in clarity between statements B and D, is statement D still grammatically correct? Sarthak, where did you find this question?
