First, make sure that the fraction is in its simplest form.
The denominator of a terminating decimal must only contain factors of 2's or 5's.

Hi ,
Any integer when divided by 4 or 5 results in terminating decimal.
the possibility for division by 4 are limited and are .25, .5 and .75
the possibility for division by 5 are 0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8
needless to say that 4 and 5 can divide an interger evenly as well ,leaving behind no remainder otherwise the possibilities are mentioned above
