"with phase" can modify a noun. I do not discuss this use here.
"with phrase" , a prepositional phrase can modify the main clause to say about How the main clause is done.
However "with phrase" in the absolute phrase (we are forced to understand this structure, pls read about this) is used to show the CONTEXT of main clause.
gmat test 2 meaning relations by changing "providing context " relation to "how is done" relation or vice versa.
in the following from VR 2nd, D and E are wrong because "with phrase" has no comma and ,so, is not an absolute phrase. because it is not absolute phrase, it have to show how the main clause is done. This is not logic.
"with phrase" in D and E can not modify a noun or a verb and are wrong.
if there a comma before "with phrase" in D, D is logic.
