On Discovery channel last night they showed an informative program about new innovations in medical imaging, which you would have found interesting.

A. they showed an informative program about new innovations in medical imaging, which you would have found interesting.
B. they showed an informative program about innovations in medical imaging, which you would have found interesting.
C. they showed an informative program about innovations in medical imaging, that you would have found interesting.
D. there was an informative program about new innovations in medical imaging, that you would have found interesting.
E. there was an informative program about innovations in medical imaging, a program you would have found interesting.


And I thought, there is ALMOST always wrong. :?

I think the answer is E.

Here's why:

[spoiler]Answer choices A, B, C can immediately be eliminated since "they" doesn't refer to anything palpable... the Discovery channel can't show anything... it's the people running the station, etc. who do things like that.

As for D and E, D doesn't express a complete thought. However, E fits together perfectly. So, my final answer would be E.[/spoiler]

yeah "e" should be correct..
new innovations is redundant..eliminate "a" and "d"..
they doesn't have any refferant ..eliminate "b" and"c"

My best guess is E

They doesn't refer anyone and between choice D and E, i choose E. D seems wordy and "That you would have found" doesn't seem right to me :)[/spoiler]

After ruling out choices a,b,c for using 'they', I rule out d for NEW innovations, as the usage may be redundant.

IMO

IMO they all have some fault

A, B, C they does not have a reference

D uses new and innovations together i.e not needed

E has two run on sentences, if there was a ; instead of , E would be my choice.

Actually, I don't think that E is a run on sentence..
