Congratulations, icecube6000, on the well deserved score. I can imagine just how liberating and exhilarating it must have ben to see that final score appear on test day 
This is an issue I've been grappling with myself, and would love your take, and those on this forum, on how schools view repeated test taking and those results. What made you decide to give it so many times? Surely you must have wondered if it would count against you, so what did you read/hear/etc that pushed you to give the test until you were satisfied with the score?
I ask because I've given it 4 times so far with my last and highest being a 670. I know I could and want to do much better, but my question is will that go against my case instead of strengthen it? Is there such a thing as 'too many times' with the gmat?

When people say that they studied from both Kaplan and Princeton review are they saying that they used practice questions from both books or that they learned and applied the different strategies from each book?
It seems to me that learning two separate schools of thought would lead to confusion. However, I do understand the benefit of getting practice questions from every source possible.

I totally understand that shiver, that moment when you let it all go and the score flashes up and you have absolutely no idea how you did it. I came from a 470 to 700 and it took 9 months and over 700 hours. Congrat to you and best of luck to the rest of your application!
I am also from pakistan and the worst part is that we dont have a lot resources for Gmat preparation. Congratulations! But i appreciate your stamina, 5 attempts! you really have courage. Good luck with your admission process.

You will not believe how much relief and moral boost i got after reading your post. i gave GMAT in feb with score of 510 and really felt bad as my verbal is quite strong.. I am too an Engineering graduate from India with 4 years work experience in client servicing. I have seen guys when they get married there life change and goals too.. you can actually set example for everyone ..hats of too you brother
