shade 1 is equal proportion, so just find the difference in material to see how many shade 2s we need to make.
540-400 = 140
since every time we make a shade 2, we shirnk that difference in material by 4 --(because 6-2 = 4)--, we need to mix 140/4 batchs of shade 2 = y = 140/4 = 35 = choice B
