Need advice guys, i got 610 48Q/25V few weeks ago, I am not particularly good in anything, but drinking, although very ambitions and stubborn. During practice tests (official GMAT and Kaplan, well mostly stuff for free from Torrents) I never scored below 45Q/27V score range of 550-690. Most of my Q scores were 47-49. And verbal 27-38.
What I noticed on the exam was that on Quantitative section I had to guess at least 9 questions and just check randomly last 5 questions since i run out of time, but still scored 48(well nothing to be proud of much). On verbal I though I did it well but turned out disaster, 25. So finally the question: one of the guys with 720 told me that my quantitative score of 48 was just luck and I won't get it next time. Since I plan to boost my English and retry GMAT, do you think it was luck( minimum 15 questions guessing) that i scored 48? And do you think verbal is adaptive like quantitative? any advice would be appreciated
