x is used a quantifier. To make it more understandable-Tryingmybest wrote:Lilu,
What is X in your logic??
here it goes:
n: # of calls
w: # of days worked
n proportional w => n=wx where x=quantifier
using the above eqn:
n(j) + n(jl) + n(a) = 20x + 17x + 19x
168 = total vol. of calls during 3 months = 56x
=> x= 3
n(a) = 19x = 19(3) = 57
