This one was not the only one, I've now seen several questions like these which make no sense as you rightly pointed out, but I believe that my job is to solve them to get the correct answer :D even if they dont make any sense :? , What say u Gabriel. By the way you were awake till 2:15 am, was it something to do with the 20-20 Cricket Wordcup
Hi Samir,

lets call it truce .. i agree with what u say .. if i get such a question on my GMAT i just cant wish it away and will have to answer it, by hook or crook..

I dont watch cricket .. i was up studying 8) ..
... totally lying.. was watching the match the whole time ... * logs off to watch todays match* ..

Just back to the question real quickly.

SInce, it is indeed squared, then answer would be 86 - as max height is reached at t=3 and thus plug in 5 for the answer.

With the holy grace of God, should we expect such questions on GMAT? I'll surely sue the test takers

Oh you absolutely should expect such questions on the GMAT, if you are aiming at a score of 700+ ( which i assume you are) ..

Btw Why would you want to sue the test takers :?:

Oh i realized that .. but wouldnt u rather want to sue the test "makers" rather than the poor and hapless test "takers" ( you, me and the others studying for the GMAT) ..
