lets call it truce .. i agree with what u say .. if i get such a question on my GMAT i just cant wish it away and will have to answer it, by hook or crook..

I dont watch cricket .. i was up studying 8) ..
... totally lying.. was watching the match the whole time ... * logs off to watch todays match* ..

Studying till 2:15 am midnight :wink: , Well thats very good, but I somehow have a feeling that your study load would substantially reduce by the end of next week :D :D

Just back to the question real quickly.

SInce, it is indeed squared, then answer would be 86 - as max height is reached at t=3 and thus plug in 5 for the answer.

Oh you absolutely should expect such questions on the GMAT, if you are aiming at a score of 700+ ( which i assume you are) ..

Oh i realized that .. but wouldnt u rather want to sue the test "makers" rather than the poor and hapless test "takers" ( you, me and the others studying for the GMAT) ..
