In the figure attached, how many of the points on line segment PQ have coordinates that are both integers?
(A) 5
(B) 8
(C) 10
(D) 11
(E) 20

Plz. explain

Find the equation of PQ

y = mx+c

c = 30
m = -3/5 (rise/run, and since its a downward sloping line slope is negative)

y = -(3/5)x + 30

For both the coordinates to be integers, x has to be a multiple of 5.

So the possible values of x = 0,5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50 = 11 values

Answer is D
