GMATPrep Quant vs. MGMAT Quant
Hey everyone, I know many people feel the MGMAT Quant is harder than the GMATPrep quant, but I'm having opposite results. I'm scoring much higher in quant on MGMAT exams in comparison to my quant score on GMATPrep. Any ideas? It looks like I'm getting more wrong answers in a row on the GMATPrep, any...

MGMAT Mimic the Reasoning Question
What's the best way to attack this problem and "mimic the reasoning" problems in general? If, in a tennis tournament, a match reaches a fifth-set tiebreak, the lower-ranked player always loses the tiebreak (and, therefore, the match). If Rafael, the second-ranked player, wins a tournament ...

Staying Focused on Verbal
I'm looking for any tips or strategies that people may use or may have used in the past to stay focused on the GMAT, in particular the verbal section. On all of my CATs I'm "in the zone" until I get about a quarter to mid way into the Verbal section and then I'm suddenly hit with fatigue. ...

PS vs. DS
I have been studying for a few months now and I know solving DS questions is completely different from solving PS questions and I'm trying to find the most efficient use of my remaining time as I'll be taking the GMAT in a few months. Using an error log I've been able to narrow down my weaknesses. I...
Higher Level Quant Q's
I'm working my way towards the end of the PS in the OG and man, some of these questions are tough. Should I be worried that I'm lost with some of these. I'm solid up until maybe #130ish and then it goes down from there. Thoughts?

I don't think the battery running out of power is necessarily a defect, its just due to the prolonged use.
I go with C because it most weakens the author's argument. If the child loses the bracelet it defeats the purpose of having it anyway. Everything else doesn't matter.

Percent Change vs. New Percent
Can someone please clarify when to use the PC formula (PC=CV/OV) vs. the NP formula (NP=NV/OV). I'm having trouble identifying when to use each in PS questions. Some examples would be fantastic. Thanks in advance.

Fastest way to raise quant score?
Hey everyone,
I looking to increase my quant score a few points. I know on Verbal one of the easiest ways to increase your score is to become stronger in SC. Is there an equivalent for Quant?
Thanks!

IMO A It is the difference between two prepositions. ‘Whereby‘ means ‘by which’, hence you merely need to look at the words ‘by’ and ‘in’. If you need to refer to the means of getting something done, you use ‘by’. You might say something like “the rules by which you must follow...
