But Sapana's example is one that makes E not true. In her example, K's population increased by a percentage greater than that of the two other regions. So, since she found one example where E is not true, does that mean we can rule that out as well?

Michaels, Also, I need to point out that you're wrong regarding The number/A number. The number is singular :The number of students is increasing. A number is plural: A number of students are standing outside. And majority in and of itself is singular, but I guess when majority refers to a set of pe...

Still confused. Can you explain your rule with the following sentence?
page 62, 12: A group of students believes that the park should be cleaned. (believes/believe)
Or does the rule not come into play, because we are talking are talking about this entire group (as opposed to a portion of it)?

In the summer I took my first GMAT Prep CAT and scored a 600 before any studying whatsoever. I've now gone through all the Manhattan GMAT books, but have only j...

GMAT vs GRE (Harvard, Stanford, etc.)
Does anyone know if the top business schools actually favor a GMAT score over a GRE score? I know they say they will take either one, and that the tests don't have preference over one another, but psychologically I feel as though a GMAT score of 700 would seem better than a GRE 700. And if this is t...

Alex, I appreciate the prompt reply. Regarding my "rush," well, to be admitted to HBS 2015, the latest on can apply is April of 2013! Additionally, not having a series regular or feature film credit certainly doesn't discount the amount of work one has had to do. I would hope that effort, ...

Actor to Harvard
To Whoever Has An Answer, I graduated top of my class from Oregon State University's Honors College with a 4.0 GPA in Chemistry in 2011 (first person to do have this GPA with this major in over 15 years). However, I didn't go into that field for work. In fact, I'm now a full time actor in Hollywood....
