hi Raj, It is great that you are so motivated. It is important that you use as much real material as possible later in the last 2-3 weeks of your practice. These could be either the Official Guide or GMAT Prep package. Try to read more about theory in the next 10 days and then focus more on tests an...

A type of a question is not a factor that actually influences your score. What is really important is the difficulty level of a question. If you could not finish the test it is impossible to say whether you were close to 700. I would recommend that you simply take another test to check your current ...

To kasia but E like this : A New York City ordinance of 1897, regulating the use of bicycles, mandated a maximum speed of eight miles an hour, required cyclists to keep feet on pedals and hands on handlebars at all times, and granted pedestrians right-of-way. will it be correct ? thanks and regards...

If you put a comma before "mandated" in choice E, you would separate the subject from the verb with a comma - which clearly is a bad idea.

Answer E is incorrect because it does not state clearly what is hard to avoid for consumers - banks, old fees or new fees. All three nouns could be referents of the pronoun "them." That's why answer A is the best one. The rule that object pronouns cannot refer to the subject of the clause ...

You definitely need to have a closer look at the question types that took you too long and revise them. Next you can try to do a few more questions of the same type from the Official Guide to have more practice. This should help you become more efficient.

Hi jbk, In order to predict your GMAT score, you need to take at least several simulation tests. You should not predict your score based on only one test. My advice is to revise all the topics that you last looked at a few months ago and to start taking 1 test per week. After you take the test, you ...

The best resource to test yourself is the Official Guide because it includes the real GMAT material. However, unfortunately it does not include the division into easier and harder problems.

The test-taker obviously should not estimate his exam results based on only one simulation test. I would suggest taking at least several tests and then counting the average from them. This would give us the base score that we could use while estimating the real GMAT score.

The average variation is around 30 (max 50) points. If the difference between simulation test results and the real GMAT is more significant, it must be due to some special circumstances (noise, distraction, tiredness, illness, etc.)

You can always try to go over some of the materials again. I am sure there will be quite a few questions that you can re-use. The same can be done with sim tests. Don't get discouraged.
Have you given me your predicted date of the exam in any of the earlier posts?

It is often difficult for test-takers to focus on questions and not get distracted by the clock ticking. What you can do is check your progress with every five questions. This way you won't lose concentration. Each question should take you more or less 2 minutes (in the verbal section it is slightly...
