will should be used to show future tense.
C is out for incorrect modifier.

I would go for A....
B,C and E wrong because of the use of being.....and between A and D,A is best.........please post the OA

A is correct but venture should be ventures to match spacecraft

Well about explanation of D
I think in split infinite the adverb or adverbial phrase, comes between the marker to and the bare infinitive (uninflected) form of a verb.
here to be representative.....
so i dont see problem with that....inface A has same constructions and A suffers from "venture" problem as well
so i think D is not bad....

I think you caught me right on Split Infinitive part.
D - known now to be is not the correct usage, instead it should be now known to be
Also, again - adverb and venture - verb. So, if you arrange them in order again venture should be correct.

IMO E.

A would be the best choice if the sentence was '..again ventures.."

Why would A be ok as it is? Wouldn't "ventures" make more sense. Can someone please explain? thank you.

isn't 'known to be' idiomatically incorrect?
i always thought known as is idiomatically correct.

could you post the source here so that some experts may also help!

I was thinking of C but when someone pointed out the modifier thing, I am now thinking of E.
Want to know a decent breakdown of all options from an expert..

Known to x is the correct idiom...
now is the adverb modifying the verb known..
