While all countries face similar greenhouse gas emissions problems, the economic policies and regulatory code of each country determine the requirements for those industries emitting carbon dioxide, as well as the consequences for violating the guidelines.

This is an easy one...

Only A has the right subject verb agreement:

the economic policies and regulatory code of each country determine

A & B determine (plural)

Pls underline the error part in the question ***

My pick is A. Perfect S-V agreement. the economic policies and regulatory code of each country determine. Pls remember they each will always take the plural form.
B is wrong - wrong SV agreement
C - their wrongly points to emissions problem
D and E change the meaning of the original sentence.
