Hello,

Your experience with your enterprise sounds truly impressive. However, the GMAT score of 400 is too low for you to be a viable contender at Insead.

Almost any program will want a higher GMAT. Also, while your experience appears very strong, a full-time MBA program will want some assurance that you do not plan to run your business full-time while also attending the program full-time.

Because your situation is unusual but you also clearly have potential to contribute a lot to a program, I suggest researching schools to identify some that seem open to unconventional applicants and/or really downplay the GMAT. Babson, in Boston, is excellent for entrepreneurship and might be feasible with a GMAT in the 580-650 range, if you can retake it and improve it. For a school such as Insead you should target at least the high 600s.

Best regards,
