E over B because 'women' is used as a central theme in the entire passage and the 'distinct literary expression' is discussed only the second section of the passage. No mention is made initially.

This line mentions the lyrical nature of the poems. Hence D

This is from an old McGraw-Hill book for the IIM-CAT, I believe, so there's probably an official explanation offered by the company if anyone has the full book.
