Jumsamtak, the positioning of the ellipsis construction is very important. We need to see the structure and position of the opening comparison part (relative to what it modifies in the sentence)

Ashish, though i did understand your logic,1980's should be 1980s (ideally).
Success = Max(Hardwork) + Min(Luck)

Oh yes, but we cannot influence it in this question and hence, it is a moot point (as I explained in the earlier post).

Was confused between the options B and C. I chose B as the answer as it was parallel as well as comparison was also correct. But I never thought that the concept presented by Avik.ch would exist.

I thought the speed can be faster than or can be as fast as...

But grammatically only the moving objects are faster than or fast as such...
