Ans is A

Given that XYZ#0.. therefore neither of the numbers are zero

Statement 1: Mod(y+z) = Mod(y) + Mod(z).. This can be possible only when both Y and Z are either positive or negative numbers.

therefor the summation i.e. (Y+Z#0)

this clubbed up with xyz#0, would be sufficent to determine that X*(Y+Z)#0

Statement 2:Though we can arrive that x,y,z are non zero and that X+Y#0.. no conclusion can be arrived if (Y+Z=0 or not) using this case.. therefore
statement 2 is not sufficent.

are you sure the question is x (y + z) = 0?

I doubt the answer would be C if this is posted correctly.
