I took the GMAT earlier this year after being out of undergrad for 10 years. I made a 540. Now that I am getting my MBA I feel I have more knowledge which will raise my score dramatically. Am looking to enroll in some PhD programs by the end of the year and their average scores are 700. Wondering if anyone has ever gone from a 540 to a 700. Also wondering if schools average your scores from the last 5 years or just take the highest (I emailed them tonight and am waiting to hear back).
Also wanting to take some courses before I retake the GMAT preferrable online and not "live" as I am a full time Grad student and writing a thesis...I need some flexibility. Does anyone have any suggestions on what online courses worked? On a budget so can't spend $1,000 for it. Any advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated
