You can't skip the AWA section--getting a 0 on the AWA is a big flag for most schools, and they might think you were too lazy to complete this section.PDZ wrote:If I received on the first test an AWA of 6.0 can I just skip it all together on the re-take as they only consider your highest scores, right? And in relation to this, only your highest scores are taken into consideration, not an average right?
I wouldn't stress getting a lower score on AWA on your retake--if you significantly improved your verbal/quant performance on a retake but dropped down to a 4.0 on AWA, you would still be in much better shape.
Good luck!
