HEllo Shenoy , Congrats on achieving the magic *7* , Could you please share some of your strategy during the past 3 weeks of prep . I am in the same boat as you were once . my quant score is hovering around 32-35 in the two Mocks i wrote past week.

My strategy ~ I took two practice tests (Princeton Review and Manhattan GMAT. Kaplan,MGMAT,Veritas Prep,Princeton Review provide free practice tests. Make the most of them) After the test, I spent a looooooooooooong time reviewing them. I reviewed my right answers first (I needed to see if I got them right by fluke or if my method was correct. It also helped me find easier,quicker methods of arriving at the right answer) I then reviewed my wrong answers. This helped me find my 'problem-areas'. I worked hard, really hard on my problem-areas. Then I did the 2 free GMAT Prep tests and reviewed those too.



So the best thing to do in the last three weeks is -
1. Refer to what Tommy,Brent, Eki and Vomhorizon said in their previous posts here. I followed their advise.
2. Find your problem-areas in quant and work super-hard on them.
3. Do lots of practice tests. Especially the two free tests in the GMATPrep Software
4. Make an account on Veritas Prep. They have a free question bank. Work on their PS and DS questions.
5. Download the free flash cards provided by beatthegmat. Study them,they are awesome!
6. Spend time on the Quant forums here. Try answering questions posted by others. Study the answers and methods posted by experts.
7. As Eki said to me, "Don't ignore Verbal".

Congratulations! It seemed like you were working hard to make it happen and you did!!

I see where you said that you were not feeling great about things during the Quant section - I am glad that you did not let that get you down and you were able to get a 44 on the verbal.

For anyone else who is reading this, take note. Even someone who is doing well can feel some negativity in the middle of the test. Do not let this overwhelm you. You too can succeed!
