With this info. we can't find the third side. So we cant find the perimeter.

The only things you can tell from this info. is that the third side of the triangle is between 3 and 7, 3 < x < 7, because of the rule that says the third side of the triangle has to be less than the sum of the other two sides, and more than their difference.

Thus the perimeter has to be between 2+5+3 < p < 2+5+7 i.e 10 < p < 14

Since none of the values stated fall within this range, the answer is none.

The answer is none because there is a concept in traingles which states that "the sum of any two sides of a triangle should be greater than the third side", so since perimeter is given we can find out the third side and none of the answer choice fulfills our criteria.
