A. Splendid! This answer choice correctly uses the Past tense for verbs following a Past tense reporting verb (stated).
B. This answer choice is grammatically incorrect. In Reported Speech, when the reporting verb is in the Past tense (stated), the following conjugated verbs should also be in the Past. However, will is in the Future.
C. This answer choice is grammatically incorrect. This question uses a Double Comparative. The second part of a Double Comparative must begin with the word the. In this answer choice, however, it begins with the word laptop.
The structure of a Double Comparative should be: the + comparison..., the + comparison....
Example: The more he eats, the fuller he will be.
D. This answer choice is grammatically incorrect. In Reported Speech, when the reporting verb is in the Past tense (stated), the following conjugated verbs should also be in the Past. However, will is in the Future.
E. This answer choice is grammatically incorrect. In Reported Speech, when the reporting verb is in the Past tense (stated), the following conjugated verbs should also be in the Past. However, are is in the Present.[/spoiler]

The setence talks about soemthing which a market researcher said in "Past" about the "Future". So, we will use "Would" to tell about those "future" events. Also, the sentence follows "The more X, the more Y" structure.

if we predict the future from past, "would" is correct. In E, the market researcher "statement" was in past. Also, according to me, the correct form is
The more XXX are made in YYYY, the more XXXX will become.
