The trick with function "f(x)" questions is to insert whatever is in between the bracket into the variable in the equation.GMAT Sux wrote:f(x)=(x-1)^2, what is the value of f(x-1)? Thanks...
So if question asked, what is f(2), you would insert 2 into the "x" spots in the equation above.
(2 - 1)^2 = 1
Now just simply insert "x - 1" into the unknown variable of the same equation and see what you get.
The dude before me offered the final solution, and now I'm showing you the method. So I think you can solve this one for yourself in this learning based environment.
