What should undergrad seniors with no full-time work experience do differently than other applicants in the application process (for top bschools)?
I believe that I'm not the only undergrad-straight-to-bschool aspirant here, so this advice could certainly help a few of us!
Let's assume:
1. GPA is unchangeable at time of application (but is within range of target schools).
2. GMAT is within range for target schools.
3. Starting a slew of extracurriculars is out of the question (plus... it'd look suspicious starting a ton of extras right before application).
4. Leadership, extras, internships, part-time work, recs, and all that jazz is all up to snuff.
Naturally, I assume that essays will be more important; they will have to dictate the reasons for the MBA at that particular time and why one is qualified for the MBA program at such a young age.
Aside from essays, is there anything young hopefuls should pinpoint in their applications?
