I am concerned becuause my undergraduate GPA isn't the greatest, I would like to go to a good university (kellog's is my choice, part time student). What range in score should I shoot for on the GMAT in order to be competitive? Do you think I have a chance of being admitted to a school like Kellog?

Thank you!!!!

Dear mveezy,

I think you do have a chance to gain admission to the part-time program at Kellogg. To be in the best position, you want to score in the 700's on your GMAT, but I think you will still have a shot if you are above 650. It is not enough to score well on the GMAT to get in, you must also present a compelling application to the school. Your essays, recommendations, and interview must also be strong and effectively convey why you want your MBA, what your career goals are, and why Kellogg.

Good luck,
Lisa
