680 Gmat, 2 years work ex

by gunner711 » Mon Oct 15, 2012 12:05 am
Hello Sir,

I have a 680 GMAT (thought I'd get a 50, easily, on the quant, finished it 34 minutes before the allocated time and screwed it up. Over confidence, hence considering of taking it up again).

I think I am already too late to apply this year, so am planning to apply next year.
To what extent will doing a CFA help me with the application?
Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Hi Gunner711,
Thanks so much for your post.
Although it definitely is considered a professional credential to include in your application, a CFA is not a substitute for a high GMAT score. I would suggest that you consider retaking the GMAT, if you feel confident about achieving a higher score.
