Hello Sir,
I have a 680 GMAT (thought I'd get a 50, easily, on the quant, finished it 34 minutes before the allocated time and screwed it up. Over confidence, hence considering of taking it up again).
I think I am already too late to apply this year, so am planning to apply next year.
To what extent will doing a CFA help me with the application?

Although it definitely is considered a professional credential to include in your application, a CFA is not a substitute for a high GMAT score. I would suggest that you consider retaking the GMAT, if you feel confident about achieving a higher score.
