Profile Evaluation GMAT 720

by arpitelex » Wed Jan 08, 2014 12:09 pm
My GMAT score is 720(AWA 4.5, IR 8,Q 50,V 37). I am looking for colleges which provide quality education in marketing, finance and general management. My long term goal is to establish a social organization, which multiplies itself in different part of India and world. This organization will be self-sustainable in nature. So, I am also targeting the schools which emphasize on entrepreneurship. In particular, I am a little more excited about Business Schools of Wharton, Columbia, Yale and MIT.

What is the procedure of Funding at U.S. Arranging funds seems to be a hectic task.

As of now, I am pursuing an online course from Stanford University on Organizational Analysis. I have already completed a spiritual course from Art of Living course of yes+. Adding to the spiritual experience, I have started taking lessons from YSS (Yogoda Satsang Society) on Kriya Yoga. I presently work with Telecom Giant, Ericsson India. Apart from normal work, i lead a team which concerns about the competency development in the field of Mobile Cloud. Also, I am engaged in my family businesses, basically on selling part.

I need your advice on my position related to my current work ex and profile. I also want to know as how to make a strong profile and prepare a focused goal. I can see an obscure goal, but not a full proof goal.

I am attaching my resume for more information required.
Which schools should i target for MBA and what is the right time to apply?

Normally, you apply and work with the financial aid department of the schools.

But you first want to research which schools provide international applicants with loans without U.S. co-signers.

Yale, for example, provides international loans to students without co-signers (https://som.yale.edu/our-programs/emba/a ... dent-loans).
Columbia is a school that requires loan recipients to have a U.S. co-signer (https://www8.gsb.columbia.edu/programs-a ... -aid/loans), but provides a list of international resources (https://www4.gsb.columbia.edu/filemgr?&file_id=7223746).

I hope this helps.

Good luck,
