For Those Who are Aiming to Apply for LBS MiM Admission, here is some Expert Essay Writing Advice for You

Every year, London Business School chooses a very selective cohort of achievers to be part of its Master in Management (MiM) program. While most applicants are aware that strong GMAT scores (the LBS MiM currently has an average of 683), excellent essays, and noteworthy academics are important to be able to get admission to LBS, what many applicants do not understand is how to use their own strengths and skills in the application.

Vrinda D is an LBS MiM student and a former GyanOne client who had an extensive background in social work, multiple internships, and student leadership positions. However, Vrinda’s forte lay not just in having these achievements, but in showcasing them. From every aspect, Vrinda is an outstanding professional, but how did she choose what to highlight, and why?

LBS MiM Essay Questions: The Importance of Understanding
One of the critical mistakes that many applicants make is that of not understanding the essay questions and what the school is looking for before attempting to answer them. The LBS MiM essay questions focus on the applicant’s career goals, and how he or she brings in relevant skills in order to achieve those goals. Similarly, LBS looks for evidence that the candidate can excel in a team environment. The LBS Master in Management class is made up of students from more than 50 countries, so this ability is critical to succeed in the program. Finally, LBS looks for evidence that the applicant will be able to contribute meaningfully on campus. READ MORE

Hello everyone!
I have scored a 640 in gmat.i am looking forward to pursue MIM.
-I have a diverse ECA which inlcudes music(classicaly trained, many merit certificates, pursued it for my whole school life, was integral part of school choir and school band.)
-I am also.involved in photography and cinematography on international level which includes being nominated in LA Cinefest, and holding a semifinalist merit in IOFF(international open film.festival). Our movie was one of the few nominations from India.
-Integral part of photography club of my college.
-started working on the second movie called."time suit".

ACADEMICS
-done with B.Tech and almost done with my M.Tech as well.completed both of them with decent gradepoints with no backlogs.
-3 different internships(2 with goverment organisation and one with a business firm for management purpose)

Please help me with the names.of some good.colleges in which i can apply.
It has been a matter of discussion for me and i still couldn't conclude this.

Also, please shed some light on the reputation of SDA Bocconi italy.
Regards,
Harsh

Hi Harsh

Your profile looks quite impressive overall. Some excellent EC achievements there, a B.Tech. and an M.Tech. to boot. Here are our suggestions:
- Your GMAT score is not very high. Perhaps you can look into raising it as a possibility.
- If not, you can still target some decent MiM programs, such as ESSEC, Rotterdam, and NUS and SMU (Singapore)
- The ISB YLP/EEO remain viable options if looking at Indian schools through the GMAT route, but you will need to build a very strong application. We have had a few clients make it to ISB with sub-650 scores, but to be honest, you should be looking to raise your score a bit if targeting ISB

Hope this helps. Feel free to come back with more queries as needed.
