The question asks for profit per unit.

Profit per unit = P = ((5304 * 7)/q)

We know that 'q' is an integer

q = ((5304 * 7)/P) => (5304 * 7) has to be divisible by
P. $11 doesn't satisfy this condition and hence it has to
be the answer

Say, the cost per unit is C and sale price per unit is S.

So, (qS - qC) = 5304*7
--> q(S - C) = 5304*7
--> q = (5304*7)/(S - C)

As q is an integer, (S - C) must completely divide 5304*7 or (S - C) must be a factor of 5304*7

Only 11 is not a factor of 5304*7

The correct answer is D.

$3 $4 $7 $11 $51
Question rephrased: What was the amount of profit per unit?
Total profit over 7 days = 5304*7 = (2*3*4*13*17)*7.
This product is a multiple of every answer choice except for 11.
Thus, it is not possible that the profit per unit was $11.

The correct answer is D.
