550 is very easy no to break.. I will suggest write 550 as 11*5*5*2 and sum 11, 5 and 2 = 18

Yes, I approached it the same way and believe that is the shortest way of doing this.

550 = 55 x 10 = 5 x 11 x 2 x 5

5 + 11 + 2 = 18
