Sum for 5 members with an average age of 20 = 5*20 = 100.
Sum for these 5 members 2 years later = 100 + 5(2) = 110.
Sum for 6 members with an average age of 22 = 6*22 = 132.
Age of the 6th member = 132-110 = 22.
If the question is asking for the age of the new member when the new member joins the group, the correct answer is
C.
If the question is asking for the age of the new member NOW, the correct answer is
A.
