If ax + b = 0, is x > 0?
a. a+b > 0
b. a-b > 0
I thought the answer was B, but OA is E.
My approach: ax = -b, so either a > 0 and x < 0 or a <0 and x > 0.
If a-b> 0, a>b, which means that a is positive and x is negative.
Please explain. Thanks!
