Should I base my studying on my Manhattan CAT results?

I have around a month left and need some understanding my score information so that I know what to focus on. On the Manhattan test I recently took I got a 36 in quant and a 34 in verbal. The problem is that I feel like the verbal score isn't accuratly showing my skill level. It had 27 700-800 difficulty level questions! I got 20 questions wrong in total- 17 700-800 lvl, 1 500-600 lvl, and 2 600-700 lvl. However, since I was revieving so many high level questions and got many of them right shouldnt my verbal score be higher than a 34?
In quant, I got a bunch of questions wrong on a bunch of different levels and only recieved 4 700-800 level questions and got them all wrong.
According to what I know about adaptive tests should'nt I have gotton a higher score on Verbal than Quant since I was getting more higher level questions and getting many of them correct on Verbal instead of the 36 Quant and 34 Verbal score that I recieved?
I feel like I should spend the rest of my time studying quant, however this practice test threw me for a loop and now I'm wondering if I should split my time evenly between studying for the two sections. Please let me know. Thanks.

Hi,

I too am confused about the scoring on MGMAT cats, but I have just decided to move on. I got a 43 on Quant yesterday (only 5 700 - 800 - got 2 correct) and 36 on verbal 8 questions 700 - 800 got 5 correct. You but you seemed to have got the tougher questions although our score on verbal is almost the same. Just don't get it! Give a GMAT prep and see how you there might be able to give you a better idea. Best of luck with your prep!

Thanks.
Yeah I know its confusing. I had gotton 31 on quant and 41 on verbal when I took my 1st official practice test. Then I spent 2 weeks studying solely on quant. Then I took manhattan's to see how far along I have come and got the 36 on quant (an improvement, so I'm happy especially since it everyone says manhattans quant section tends to be more difficult) but just 34 (Big drop) on verbal.
I dont really want to waste my last offical test. I think I will just continue studying quant for a couple more weeks before taking another test and then decide whether I want to focus on verbal.
Good luck!
