A --> Non prescription medications are out of scope here. Whether they interfere or not doesn't matter.
B --> It doesn't matter whether or not these ads are done for recently developed or old medicines.
C --> Kind of advertising is out of scope.
D --> This is a trap answer. It says that physicians may pay more attention to adv directed to general public. If I go a bit too far, it may mean that physicians may suggest this medicine because it is being publicised directly.
E --> This is a bang on target answer. This is bringing down the motive of last two sentences which say that ppl may ask for it but it is in the hand of physician to prescribe it or not. However, this statement (E) says that whether physicians are likely to succumb to pressure from patients to prescribe inappropriate medications. This is the best amont all.
