Hi rich,
thanx a lot. I am planning to attempt 2 more full fledged mock ups,mostly Manhattan, tomorrow n day after tomorrow.
will update here again with all details. Till now, with analysis provided by Veritas, i am scoring less in probability, percent, pnc. N in verbal its RC.

Hi,

I have attempted one more Manhattan gmat CAT full practice test. And scored 620.. Q 43 and verbal 32.
I am getting confused with how to exactly study with this pattern of scoring. I got 680 on Veritas full practice test which I attempted previously.

One thing though, in Manhattan there are 21 questions in Q and 26 in verbal which are of difficulty level 700-800, out of which I got 14 right for Verbal and 7 right for Quant.

Could anybody please help me with the analysis and to decide how should I study further.

Hi Sid,

You shouldn't be spending your time trying to figure out how the scoring algorithm works. Instead, put your energy into things that you can fix. After reviewing the CAT, how many questions did you get wrong for silly/little reasons? Fix those ERRORS and correct any pacing problems and your score should improve. If you're "guessing" too often in the Verbal section, then you have to do more work (take more notes, learn the patterns behind RC/CR prompts, practice more grammar) to remove the guesswork.
