Hi,

The below question is from Powerscore CR bible.
The OA is D and I understand it is the best choice.
But according to me the phrasing is not proper here.
It says "The per capita GDP of the European Economic Community was not lower by more than $1000 in 1990 than it had been in 1980"
What if it was exactly $ 1000 lower.
For e.g consider the below case.(GDPs are in thousands)

GDP of country A in 1980 is 105
GDP of EEC in 1980 is 100
GDP of country A in 1990 is 105
GDP of EEC in 1990 is 99

Please advise if I am going wrong anywhere.

I agree - it should be "was not lower by $1000 or more in 1990 than it had been in 1980". None of the answer choices fit, though.
