Hi [email protected]!
Thanks for your post! I've reviewed your background information and I do have some suggestions. First of all, you should be doing whatever you can to potentially increase your GMAT score. It may be worth the investment to consider some private tutoring or a class if you can get a sense of your weaknesses on the test. My other suggestion is that you consider building an alternate transcript now by taking a highly quantitative course at a local university or college, or one online. If you receive an 'A' in this course, it will be additional support that you can also handle the rigors of an MBA program. Your undergraduate grades are strong, however, and so these will also support your candidacy. Keep in mind that your academic background is only one facet of what the B school programs will consider in reviewing your profile. Your work background and who you are outside of your work and academics are also important! It looks like you have a lot to work with in this category in terms of extra-curricular interests and your focus on economics. Also, you should absolutely mention that you had to work during college, and that you were self supported.

I think that you can be a great candidate for business school. Please feel free to contact us at [email protected] for a more detailed, free initial assessment.

Best,

Deena
