IMO because D creates a run on sentence...

"have" is verb but "with" is not a verb.

so D joins two totally independent clauses with just comma....i.e. creates a run-on sentence.

Confused with A

Friends,

I am bit confused with the pronoun reference here. Please help me to understand.

After the comma:

(1) two of them - Them refers to islands ( that's why them is plural)
(2) its area - Its refer to republic of Philippines

Am I correct here?
"Native of" is used for a individual while "Native to" is used for a large group

Now, here i think D should be the correct answer coz IMO A does not clearly indicates that those 2 islands contain two-third of its area..
I don't feel that i should think of logic that "have" means to get or eat or to possess... such as, i have my own base ball kit or I have an ice-cream this afternoon. But even with this logic, i think D is best..
Please lemme know if i misunderstood something..
Please post OE for this question if possible and lemme know the source of this problem..

OA is A . here is special apposition. this happen in OG10, in the sentence "chinese character, each letter a picture"

E is wrong because

which can not refer to the country for agreement of "have"

which can not refer to island because it is not logic to do so.

any questions, pls, tell me

I would like to have Official Explanation if possible coz i think here we should look for run-on sentences as well in selecting the right choice. I just wanna confirm whether i am correct about using run-on sentence concept here..
