OA is C
one side of square: a
radius of circile : r

4a=2pi r

pir=2a

Lets plug some numbers

r=2, sp a=pi

then the ratio of the area of S to the area of C is closet to

a^2/pir^2 = pi x pi / pi x 4

= pi / 4
= 3.14/4

Hence C

perimeter of square region S= perimeter of circular region C

4a = 2 pi r
2a = pi r
a/r = pi /2...(1)

area of S / areas of C

a * a / pi r^2

a * a /pi r *r

substitute 1 in the above eq.

pi / 4

3/4 (approx)
