The integer m is between 0 and 100 inclusive. When m is divided by 6, the remainder is 5. How many possible values of m are there?
(A) 15
(B) 16
(C) 17
(D) 18
(E) 19

m is of the form 6x + 5, where x is an integer
for 0<m<100, x can be any number between 0 and 15, both inclusive. So there are 16 such numbers

Using A.P. formula
An=a+(n-1)d
a=5,d=6,An=95

n=16

n= 16

for 0<m<100 6 has 16 multiples namely 6, 12, 18......90, 96
hence, there will be 16such numbers which will leave remainder of 5 when divided by 6.
like 5, 11, 17....95
