a) x-y=27.
x=38,y=11 diff = 2.
x=41,y=14, diff = 3
insufficient
b) x-y = 27 and unit of x - unit of y >3.
thus (x,y) unit pairs can be: (9,2), (8,1), (7,0)
x=37,y=10. x=47,y=20. diff = 2 always.
Sufficient

I did it this way

X=10a+b
Y=10c+d
X-Y = 27 so 10(a-c) +b-d =20+7
10(a-c)=20 a-c=2. From this I get a sufficiency. Am I missing something here?

At a first glance i thought its E but yeah didnt do much calculations ...should be C
