"fewer than ..." modifies what? pls help
dose that phrase modify "seven people...." .
if that poit is right, that point is NOT NORMAL because noun modifier should be close the the noun modified. But in this case, "fewer than..." is far from "seven persons..."
One thing more, if I rearrange sentence like the following
fewer than ..., seven people..."
then, I see the sentence is not logic. I do not know why the sentence is not logic. pls help explain
