What is the quickest way to solve this?

If x, y, and k are positive numbers such that (x/x+y)(10) + (y/x+y)(20)= k and if x is less than y, which of the following could be the value of k?

a. 10
b. 12
c. 15
d. 18
e. 30

it ca nbe viewed as weighted avg of 10 and 20, we knew the weighted avg will be close to 20 since x and y are positive no, and x < y, its kind of x/x+y will be less than y/x+y, so any answer more than 15 and less than 20 will satisfy. 18 is there.
