3 possibilities 1,5, and 6

1^4 = 1
2^4 = 16
3^4 = 9*9 = 81
4^4 = 16*16 = A number with unit's digit - 6
5^4 = 25*25 = A number with unit's digit - 5
6^4 = 36*36 = A number with unit's digit = 6
7^4 = 49*49 = A number with unit's digit = 1
8^4 = 64*64 = A number with unit's digit = 6
9^4 = 81*81 = A number with unit's digit = 1

and all numbers with unit digits 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 follow the same pattern.
